Soxhlet Extraction Apparatus
 
Soxhlet extraction apparatus used for the continuous extraction of solids with a suitable solvent. Units are supplied complete with flat bottom boiling flask, Soxhlet extractor and Graham condenser.

The extractor capacity shown is the solvent volume held in the extractor to the top of the siphon tube. The siphon tube is protected from accidental damage by the vapor tube. Extractor has a standard taper outer joint at the top for connection to the condenser and a standard taper inner joint at the bottom for connection to the flat bottom boiling flask.

The description says it all. The extraction setup functions well, is brand new, and very affordable. While there may be differences in the mechanical toughness/thermal resistivity to name-brand products, this has yet to be determined. The glass is packaged with care and if treated right will last forever. Siphoning cycle time is about 10 minutes using ~200mL boiling water with a 330 W heating mantle. Highly recommended!
